Hidradenitis suppurativa Ointment

Hidradenitis suppurativa, also called acne inversus, is a chronic inflammatory skin condition with lesions including deep-seated nodules and abscesses, draining tracts, and fibrotic scars. These lesions most commonly occur in intertriginous areas and areas rich in apocrine glands.

HS is better described as autoinflammatory because your own cells are attacking each other and the cells are from the immune system, causing inflammation

Use the ointment 3-4 times a day initially and you can taper off to once or twice during the process. Use for 6-8 weeks initially.  The soap is crucial. Wash off the ointment daily with the soap and start fresh the next day.
